A careful conservative restoration has enhanced an ancient home located in the historic center of Matino, Salento, creating a nest with a romantic atmosphere. The spaces dedicated to the living area, rich in recesses and original details, are made of typical Lecce stone, and the surprise is an evocative alcove carved inside a limestone cave, the heart of the suite. Most probably, the Cave was one of the first ingenious housing solutions adopted by the locals, and the suggestion of a stay in such an exclusive place makes for an extraordinary experience. The bath tub area is also carved out of rock, while the washbasin is made from a single block of elegant rough stone. The white and creamy yellow of the typical Salento building materials create a warm colour harmony, emphasised by lighting.

    The facility is located in the historical centre of Matino. Due to the narrow alleys, this area does not give the possibility of parking the car. If you reach the facility by car, we recommend parking in the free white-striped parking spaces located on streets outside the historic centre: Piazza Giorgio Marsano; Via Luzzatti.
    It can be reached by walking 300 metres.
